Uber India — delay in service | |||||
Hi, I have scheduled Uber cab between 3.30 AM to 3.45 AM to travel from my place ( Mayuri Nagar, Miyapur ) to International Air port Hyderabad. I have got a flight at 5.45 AM from Hyd to Mumbai. Cab was booked and it has shown driver will reach by 3.45 to my place. I thought driver would reach by 3.45, i can reach airport by 4.45 and i can catch my flight. in fact i called the driver and told him not to cancel the cab, since it is early in the morning it would be very difficulty for me to get another cab. After 5 mins driver cancelled the cab and different cab was booked again waiting time was 15 mins. Finally i got cab at 4.06 AM, i reached airport by 5.06 AM. Airport team denied to issue boarding pass since i was late. I lost my money and i booked one more flight which was at 8.30 AM in the morning, it costed me approx Rs 4000/-. When i tried reaching Uber customer care asking for compensation they said they have taken the action against the driver. Taking an action against driver - How it will help me? Finally i lost my Rs 4000/-. I need your support in getting my money, this was absolutely Uber's service issue. If they dont have cabs available they should inform the customer priorly, so that can find an alternate way. Was this information helpful? | |||||
