I booked a uber pool for my friend on 17 feb 2019, please check the attached documents for information.
When my friend asked the driver to turn on the ac of the car the driver sited illogical reasons not to turn it on.
After repeated pleading also the driver did not paid any head and straight away refused to turn on the ac and said 'you're wearing a jacket hence you are feeling hot and such a nice weather who needs an ac. The wind is enough to cool you down the ac is not required".
Now my question to uber is how come uber can give the upper hand or audacity to a driver to decide the likes and dislikes of a customer? When i booked a cab for my friend or whenever i book an uber for myself shall i now pray or wish will the driver turn on the ac or not or will the driver be polite or not?
Is this a way uber give licence to their driving partners?
Such a shame, this is heights o[censored]nprofessionalism and unethical practice of business.
This is a clear case that the driver wanted to save the fuel cost hence he did not turn on the ac.
When i booked that cab i did not negotiate the price of booking then how dare the driver can behave like this?
When i'm paying the price of my ride what stopped the driver to do his job?
Either he knew that maximum a customer can call the call center and make formal complaint against him and uber will do nothing or anyways uber will do nothing as uber is a big company and a small incident will not bat anyone's eye.
If the driver had these points in his mind while behaving unruly towards my friend then let me tell you guys you are absolutely wrong.
I will take this matter to consumer court and i will make sure no customer shall be handled or served like your driver did and that's a promise.
