I have lost a wallet in uber's cab. When i came to know about it, right away i have contacted the driver and driver admits that he has a wallet of mine. After talking to him, he assures me that he will submit the wallet at uber seva kendra at sector 29 gurgoan. But unfortunately he hasn't deposited yet. Now he is not picking up the phone.
I have explained the scenario to the uber over mail and they also contact the driver from their end and confirmed me that driver agreed that he has your wallet and told me to visit seva kendra to collect the same.
When i found that he hasn't deposited it yet then again i escalate the same to uber over mail but they are saying that they are limited to this much support and go for further legal procedure at your end.
So my concern is that when uber has the idea about the culprit driver then why it cannot take some serious step. Isn't it their duty to do so? Uber is dealing with the same driver in and out then why can't he compelled the driver about the lost item.
This so unprofessional side o[censored]ber. I am attaching the mail where uber has confirmed that he cannot do anything further.
