Today morning at around 9.10 am, i booked a cab from my residence at dadar west to my office at the below address. After waiting for 10 minutes, the driver called and asked me my destination and whether i would pay by credit card or cash. When i mentioned that i would pay by card, he refused stating that since it was his first ride, he would want cash only. I told him that it was not possible since i already booked my cab. He asked me to cancel, which i refused. Please note that i had an important interview and as a result of this refusal, it got cancelled.
With great difficulty, i got a normal cab. When i was about to reach my destination, the driver called and asked where i was, saying he had reached the pick-up spot. I blasted him stating that he had refused earlier. He blatantly lied stating that he had not called at all.
Post that i tried posting an online complaint. I had to reset my password and for some reason, my entire account was wiped out o[censored]ber app and asked me re-register.
I earnestly request someone from uber to call me at the earliest. Was this information helpful? |
