Its very said to notice that uber dont have any customer care center? So you can charge anything or deduct anything from customer and than become invisible?
My name is akshay. You can reach me at [protected]. I booked an uber on 11 june at 04:58 pm. During booking it was showing one minute (As there was an uber nearby) but when booked i got an uber (Showing at considerable distance) which was 20-30 mins away. I called the driver, he was also shocked how i got this booking and said that it will take 30 mins to reach there. So i cancelled the booking as i knew there is an uber nearby. After cancelling, i booked uber again which was very near and it came in just 3 mins.
After completing the journey, i was shocked to hear that i was charged 50 rs as a cancellation fee. While cancelling on app (Windows mobile app) there was no notification about 50 rs deduction. Moreover, why should i pay i[censored]ber itself booked a long distant cab instead of that of the uber located nearby? And why there's no customer care to resolve such petty issues?
I want uber to refund my 50rs. Its not the amount thats troubling me, but its the 'feeling of getting cheated' by large mnc like uber with no customer care.
