This is a general behavior o[censored]ber drivers. Once the trip is accepted, they will call and ask where is pickup location (Although they are very well aware of the pick up location). Once you have given the information, next question is where is a drop. Once you responded with honest answer, he will say "ok i am coming to the pickup point". What happens next is totally based on my luck.
Driver will come if both o[censored]s destinations nearly matching.
Most of the cases if driver is not willing to come, he will not move from his location for atleast 5 minutes. So that customers like me will cancel the trip and they get money for no reason.
In this case who is looser? Off course poor customer.
Because either he is losing money or time or both.
Today it happened 3 times for same ride and wasted 30 minutes of precious time where i have leave for office.
There is no difference in standards of local auto and uber drivers.
Uber app don't show the history of drivers who cancels the ride. And customer has no way to register a complaint against such incidents.
Improve your app and customer experience.
Hire decent drivers.
