Uber India — Wrong Payment Charged for my Trip on 07Feb21 | |||
I took Uber Cab on 7th Feb 2021 from IGI T3 airport to My House, M3M Merlin Sector 67 Gurgaon. When I took the cab, the distance and route shown was correct and the amount to be paid was mentioned as INR 449. When I reached home, it took standard time as per the original message, but the charge mentioned was INR 2142. I disputed the charge immediately but Driver had no choice he said I have to pay. The route shown was incorrect in the application due to server error. I paid the cash there to him. Subsequently I contacted Uber team throuh help option in their app, which is extremely complex route, they responded that they will refund the difference but they eventually refunded much less amount. After a lot of follow ups, they finally charged INR 826 and they are not reducing the amount to original charge of 449. I need them to refund the difference and not let this happen again.
