Union Bank Of India — Nepotism at Union Bank of India Regional Office Kolkata | |||
The Chief Managing Director Union Bank of India. Kindly investigate why two physicians Dr Ranjan Bhattacharya & Dr P Biswas has been employed by Union Bank of India Regional Office Kolkata. Both of them are most irregular and reluctant to attend to any queries of the staff members. Dr Ranjan Bhattacharya also never writes any prescription!! The bank is put to financial loss by employing such a delinquent physician. They are not available to the branch staff. Both the physicians are most irregular and visits RO Kolkata once or twice a month though they are supposed to attend twice every week. Strangely no record or register is maintained for this purpose. Raising the issue to the concerned departmental head Mr Amit Banerjee was of no use. Concerned department is not bothered by this sort of lapses. Work of scrutinizing the medical bills of regional executives can be outsourced to save on bank’s expenses, as done in other psu. Proper advertisement needs to published before employing any physician at the cost of the bank. Please look into the matter for benefit of the staff o[censored]nion Bank of India Kolkata Region.
