Unisyn Enterprises — tata sky installation - wrong information

I am a customer of tata sky for more than a decade with sd connection. Last week, a representative o[censored]nisyn enterprises came home and offered a "free upgradation" to hd connection from tata sky. He promised that i would get a free set top box, a new free dish and no activation charges for hd connection.

He told me that i would have to pay rs 7051/- towards my channel recharge for one year and that i would get all the channels that i currently subscribe in hd. He also told me that i would get a call from tatasky and i should inform them that i was seeking a "new" connection. He did not tell me that i could just upgrade my existing connection. I was cheated by giving wrong information.

When the new hd set top box was installed, i came to know that of the total amount i had paid, only 4200 were towards the annual charges for a channel package that did not have many of the earlier channels i subscribed. The rest were towards hd activation charges and new set top box.

My decision to go for hd was based on wrong information given to me by unisyn representatives. Now tatasky refuses to refund my set top box charges. Also, i will be required to pay additionally for the channels i earlier could see but now i cannot.

I feel cheated. Nobody wants to rectify the situation. Even when there are so many complaints against unisyn, they continue to be authorised dealers of tatasky and continue to cheat customers.
