I was an unit holder o[censored]nit scheme 1964 on 31/7/87 and my certificate No was[protected]. This was a reinvestment plan. I had purchased these units for Rs 3900/- . I was given statements of accounts for 1987-88, 88-89 and 89-90 after which I did not receive any information. Due to unavoidable reasons I surrendered my original certificate vide a letter dated 16.9.92. I received a sum of Rs 4380/- only. Since I had purchased these units for Rs 3900/ for five year of my investment there appeared to be a profit of only Rs 480/- I felt that my accumulated units were not considered in redemption. I corresponded with Unit Trust but no action was taken in fact I never received any reply. As I was swerving in the Army i kept on moving and at some time I misplaced papers relating to this issue. Now I have found these papers and would like to claim my dues. The details of available receipts are as follows-account No 4092674 dated 6-07-90, Acc No 492674 dated 7-7-89, and 7-7-88, Acc no 401 A92674 dated 31/07/98and 31 Jul 2000. It is the last two receipts because of which I felt that I may be able to get my money back. Please look into the matter and let me know- Lt Col Sandhya, VSM (Rtd)
