[Resolved] Unitech Kolkata — Delay in possession (Unitech Kolkata) | |||
Hi, I booked a flat in Unitech Vistas T-8, Kolkata in April, 2011.They took most of the installment within one and half years and now from last two years brickwork is going on.As per my last communication with Unitech in Oct 2014, brickwork was completed till 5th Floor, so in last two years they were able to finish brickwork till only 5 floors of a 14 floors tower.And now they are saying this project is 2 yrs delayed.I just wanted to know .. What were they doing from last 2 years ? Are they taking our money and investing somewhere else and we are keep paying rents ?? Was this information helpful? | |||

Hi, I booked a flat in Unitech Vistas in July 2010. They took 95% of the money in first 2 years. Unitech was supposed to deliver by 2013. But after taking most of the money they entirely stopped communicating. When I call up, every time they say its delayed by 2 years. Now they are saying possession might happen by 2017 end, that is also not sure. Clearly Unitech is looting its customers. Can somebody please help what steps one can take against such false commitments?
