In reply to the above referred letters, I have to reply as under
Clause No 3.40:
LUCENTIS® (ranibizumab injection) is a prescription medicine that you may receive from your Retina Specialist. It was approved for wet AMD by the FDA in 2006 for treatment of patients with wet age-related macular degeneration
Vision loss is due to eye contains extra amounts of a protein called VEGF. It is one of the causes of leaky, abnormal blood vessels. The excess fluid that comes from these blood vessels can accumulate and lead to changes in vision.
LUCENTIS is used for the treatment of patients with wet age-related macular degeneration (wet AMD), diabetic macular edema (DME), and the 2 forms of macular edema following retinal vein occlusion (RVO): branch RVO (BRVO) and central RVO (CRVO).
Clause No. 2: The issue is already dealt with in the my earlier court order in my earlier claimed settled by Hon. Court in verdicts vide orders the copies of which has been submitted t UIIC
I would like to bring to your notice that Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum of Ahmadabad City – Rural,
had passed order vide CDRF No:569/[protected]@A’bad and another order CDRF No:803/[protected]@A’bad in similar Circumstances in my case which was not contested by UIIL and paid in full together with interest @ 9%
The copies of the Order along with Statement of payment breakup are attached here with for your kind perusal. You are requested to do the needful and oblige.
