University Grants Commission — correction in father's name refused by university

Sir i have completed bsc from science college gwalior (M. P.) this year affiliated from jiwaji university.in all marksheet my father name is written as kamal rai but their full name is kamal kishor rai. When i went to university for correction with full proofsthey said me to correct their name with pen on my original marksheet instead of giving me a new computerised marksheet. I have also said that i am submitting my original marksheet of college with incorrect father name. But they refused and said we can only correct their name through pen in your original. Marksheet we cant give you a nrw computerised marksheet. I dont know what is the reason? I
As all other university or even school giving new marksheet after submitting previous original marksheet. But this university is exception.
