University Grants Commission — Maternity leave not sanctioned with pay after 4 years of service in medical college

Myself, prof. M. Shobitha, professor, physiology dept., hamdard institute of medical sciences and research, jamia hamdard, n, delhi was not sanctioned paid maternity leave from 2/4/16 to 2/10/2016 as per recent updated rules and regulations, after submission of all relevant medical records. The victim, myself after 4 years of service in hamdard institute of medical sciences and research, jamia hamdard, n, delhi was on loss of pay and had to avail earned leaves and medical leaves as part of maternity leave from 2/4/16 to 2/10/2016. The pay for maternity leave has not been sanctioned / released by higher authorities till now.
