I had bitter experience with Urban Company.
I have booked AC installation service from Urban Clap on 31st August and the same assigned to professional name Sajid.
He came on 1st September & spend almost half of the day and after installing Split AC he informed me that AC gas has been leaked & it needs to be refilled but I don't have it as of now so I will come tomorrow i.e. 2nd September & will do the needful.
He also requested me that he forgot to start the job in Urban Company app so he will not get any amount paid or he will be charged penalty, so you please cancel the job & pay me amount in cash and he will talk to urban company and make them understand.
Upon his statement I agreed & cancel the job and paid him 2360 cash for AC installation & 800 inr for AC wash, on day one.
2nd September he turned up again with gas refill & charge 1600 inr, I paid him 1000 cash & 600 inr via Paytm.
Later on I find some issues with my Split AC & I called him (Sajid) that ac water, rather than going in drain pipe, it's coming out from indoor unit & falling on my bed, upon it he promised me to come next day & resolve the issue but after that he stop picking up my calls.
I have called Urban Company support team & they took Sajid on call and to my surprise he denied that he don't know me & he never came for installation.
I have sent a mail to urban company in this regard along with screenshots of the call history exchange between myself & Sajid and the screenshot of Payment of amount 600 which I paid via Paytm.
Even after writing mail to Urban Company and numerous phone calls, I have received no update.
