[Resolved] Urban Company — The professional has damaged the TV | |
My TV display had a problem and have booked a professional through Urban Company. Mr. Umair Said Jafri, has been assigned by Urban Company and he took the TV for repair on 3 May 2020. He estimated that it will around Rs 8000 for repair and also informed he is replacing the TV panel. After a few days, he called and informed that he needs to replace the TV display board also and charged Rs 3000 more, so a total of Rs 11000. He delivered the TV by 19 May 2020 and I paid Total of Rs 11249. Within a day of delivery, the TV display showed horizontal lines. I have raised the concern in the Urban company and the same professional has been assigned to repair it. Urban Company customer care professional also assured that since the same problem has arisen again, it will be covered under insurance. Mr. Umair has picked the TV by 27 May 2020 and said that he will repair. After that Mr Umair never responded to the call and absconded. After a lot of follow up from my side, the professional delivered the TV and charged Rs. 8000 by 18 June 2020. While Installing the TV only, it was observed that the problem is not been rectified and the horizontal lines are sill visible. The professional also acknowledged the same. For more than a month, I have been reaching Urban Company customer care to resolve the issue. A new technician was assigned to do a check on the TV. He visited by 10 July 2020 and confirmed that TV has got the display issue and also confirmed that Mr. Umair has done considerable damage to the TV in name of repair. After this Urban Company went silent and it's been more than a month now since I have raised the complaint. Neither Urban company nor the concerned professional is responding to this issue anymore. Aug 1, 2020 Complaint marked as Resolved It's been more than a month now, I didn't get any resolution from Urban Company soo far. it's still not resolved. Urban Company has been silent about it. Very pathetic customer care support where voice of the customer is muted and no customer orientation. They just mint money. Urban Company customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
