Urbanic — Non delivery of pre-paid product
On 18 November 2021 I had placed an order for 2 dresses with Urbanic.com and pre-paid for it. The website confirmed the order and generated an order number, with deliver promised between 28 November and 2 December 2021. A few days later, I tried to track the order, but the web page kept asking me to download their app, something I was not willing to do. I Googled a Customer Care number for the company and when I called them, the person insisted that I download the app from Google Play Store, without which he wouldn't entertain my call. I gave in and tried to download the app but Google Play Store had no such app. I called back the Customer Care and the person told me to give him remote access to my computer - something highly suspicious and unheard of, which I firmly refused.
On 1st December, one of the dresses was delivered. The delivery person told me that it's quite common for the order to arrive in instalments. However, the Urbanic.com web page is showing both dresses as delivered (Screenshot attached). I sent a mail to [protected]@urbanic.com on 4th December, but have yet to hear back from them.
