I had purchased OFR 3211F-PTC Oil Filled Radiator from from USHA INTERNATIONALLTD (Company Showroom) located at 1/13-14, Asaf Ali Road, Opposite Kamla Market, new Delhi-110002 vide Invoice No. 25087422 dated 19.12.2014 evening at a price of Rs 7738/-.
I started operating the above equipment about two after the purchase and was shocked to find that the fan is making the rattling noise of this brand new equipment.
Immediately, I lodged a complaint with M/s Usha who registered my complaint and allocated the complaint no. C[protected] ON 23.12.2014. Thereafter their representative visited my residence, checked the oil filled radiator and informed that the fan is defective in the brand new radiator sold to me. He mentioned that the engineer will come from the company to rectify the problem.
Thereafter no one has bothered to come to attend the problem though I have been pleading with the company representative time and again. I visited the company show room at Asaf Ali Road again about three days back and pleaded for the necessary action when the Showroom Manager Mr. Manish promised that the needful shall be done within 24 hours.
However till date no one from Usha has even bothered to contact what to talk about attending to the problem or replacing the defective radiator.
Usha company is least bothered about the problem, the expenditure being incurred by me for arranging alternative means for heating my house in the absence of radiator, the expenditure incurred by me for visiting their show room for pleading with them in regard to above problem, the precious time that is being devoted by me for following up the matter. Further, I am going through great mental agony because of this problem, especially when it is difficult to cope up with the chilling weather by me, family members and my 80 years old mother.
Hope that good sense will prevail and the radiator will be replaced immediately/problem rectified with immediate effect in the absence of which I wiil be constrained to review the various options to recover the damages/compensation from Usha International.
I have got the impression that Usha International is not much concerned about the quality of the products sold by them as well as providing the after sale services to the customers.
WHAT IS THE USE OF BUYING THE RADIATOR FROM USHA WHEN THE DEFECT IN THEIR PRODUCT IS NOT ATTENDED TO EVEN MORE THAN 10 DAYS AFTER THE PURCHASE (AND STILL DON'T KNOW WHEN IT WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF) AND IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO USE IT WHEN IT ACTUALLY REQUIRED TO BE USED (IN THE PEAK WINTER SEASON).
FRIENDS...BASED ON THSI EXPEREINCE, MY ADVISE IS NOT TO BUY USHA PRODUCT SINCE LOT MANY OTHER REPUTED COMPANIES ARE THERE IN THE MARKET.
