Dear Sir / Madam I Applied pan card middle name change on 25/3/2017 but till date now i didn't any confirmation messages and mail also i applied UTI infrastructure technology and services limited, D-1, First Floor, Thiru-via-ka Industrial Estate Guindy chennai -600032 but no one response my mails and telephone calls also my acknowledgement number is Q[protected] I have applied and corrected the PAN card but still not received the physical documents for your status but i have already send by speed post and it reached address in chennai on 29 march 2017. Its still showing physical documents not yet received. Can you please check the latest status? Actually i dont even want the PAN card. In pan card also my display name is correct. But somehow the pan database is having my second name spell wrong as ISSAC instead of ISAAC. So i am unable to link my aadhaar.

Dear Arun Isaac George,
You will get PAN card by next week since they are in Need of approval from Income tax dept against correction. This is formal verification which is done for any correction in PAN Data. So check the status of UTIITSL after few days about tracking of your PAN despatch.

I applied for surname correction on 16th April 2018, and the courier tracking shows that it was delivered on 17th April 2018 but the status is still "Your application in original (with physical documents) is not received yet. Verify with our UTIITSL office at the address to which you have posted/submitted this physical application set" I need the surname to be corrected for immediate purpose.

Just wait for another 15 days to get proper update. Because me too felt the the same issue and sorted out and got the PAN Card after 45 days. Hardly it will take 45 days to get PAN card from them.
