[Resolved]  Videocon d2h — Cheating and Harassment

Dear Friends,
If you are using d2h or are planning to take a new connection, then be aware. They are run by thieves and thugs.

I had requested for a remote change since 14th Aug. After several follow ups(calls and emails) for days, finally got a remote on 18th August, after payin 25% extra. Yes, they force you to pay more, else they would close the tickets several times, mentioning some madeup reasons that Customer is not reachable or not answering the calls.

To make things worse, within one hour of receiving a replacement remote, it stopped working. Since then I have been calling the engineer atleast 3 times and the Customer Care everyday. Everytime, the request goes to the same agency and it's a dead end. The Customer Care support is outright bogus, because they can't do anything from home(or they just don't want to do anything). The engineers on the field, imagine themselves in the Avatar of Joker, and are high on cheap ego.

Last night out of frustration, I called the Customer Care and asked them to deactivate my connection. The executive told me, she can't Deactivate my connection because, they don't have any such facility. She told me do whatever you feel like. So, they mean to say, I can't cancel a service, I absolutely hate and don't want any further in this life. Now, it is clear the harassment is intentional.

I have been using Videocond2h since last 7 years. Never in my life I have faced such a situation, where a company is unable to solve a petty problem, instead is adamant on their self drunk ego.

In the age of OTTs they think they own the Customer and can treat them however they feel like. They are not shooting their foot, instead blowing themselves up. To hell with such a Company.

Long story short, Stay away from these wolves. They hunt in packs.
