Videocon D2H — direct to home services

Videocon services were discontinued from 28.02.2019. I sent a mail to them as under -
I have been trying from yesternight 7.30pm and i am unable to get in touch with you. Today after many many many attempts since 7.30pm yesternight, i was able to get in touch with your customer care no.[protected]. I was shocked to be told that there was no balance in my account. I had recharged the same only on 20th. Daybefore yesterday my dth set-top box got stuck and your service technician came and attended and collected rs.200/- cash from me and did not bother to give a receipt (As they did on a previous occassion). Now i was told that this amount had not been passed on to the company and they had debited my account. My complaint no;. Is[protected].
Since i did not get the connection, i sent another mail to them (Nobody is able to get their line).
Now i have not got the connection - well after 11am - back as promised by your customer care i could not establish
Contact at all with your[protected] or the chennai nos.
Pl. Advise what you propose to do. Escaping from customers by not attending to calls is shameful aind irresponsible.
Kindly advise whether i should whistle away the amount cheated by your company.
There was no reply. I sent a mail on 7th march - at 09:50

Kindly arrange to activate my account. It is nine days since you illegally deactivated my connection when i owed you no money. Pl. Note that you are penalising me for the criminal action of your staff. How many more times

Your mail is disappointing because you are making a misstatement. I had paid only 20th feb. For one month. A

Had either misappropriated the amount without passing on the amount given by me or your accounts department had
Mindlessly debited the amount. I am not responsible for any of these. Your cavalier treatment of customers is
Inappropriate and amounts to deficiency in service. You have denied me the services from 1st of march and i am
Repeatedly following with you for no fault of mine. If you don't attend to this grievance equitably i will have no other
Alternative but to prosecute you for deficiency in services and causing stress and strain to a senior citizen at your cost
And risk. Pl. Stop fooling customers by not attending to phones and grievances. Simply because you are invisible you
Are taking all types of liberties with customers which is not worthy of a public limited company. I expect your
Immediate reply on this and resolution of my grievance.
There was no action. I sent a mail again on 11th march -

Than 48 hours and nothing has happened. You don't have the courtesy to keep up your own words in spite of
Numerous follow ups. Very regrettable for a public limited company which is irresponsible, lying every day and
Shameless about its condition.

Again on 18th march -
Today is 18th march. You are cheating customers. Pl. Refund my amount and we will call this quits.

There is absolutely no action.
