This is with immense grief I am writing to you about the poor extended warranty support I recently faced.
My whirlpool refrigerator was not cooling properly, I purchased it back in Oct 2020 with the extended warranty, as the sales guy was pitching about its all the benefits. (He added quite a many benefits more than the refrigerator itself.)
When I found it was not cooling properly, I contacted Vijay's sales ew department, they raised an SRQ[protected] with assured 48 hours TAT.
When no one has contacted me, I myself reached out and escalated it, they then assigned a whirlpool technician. To our surprise when he visited he just said it is a cooling gas issue, and it will be charged as Rs. 4050 /-. I said I have it covered in an extended warranty. And have the invoice. He ridiculed it and said it is of no use, he just kept asking about one sticker, which supposes to be there on the refrigerator. (totally ignoring the invoice)
It is what is written on the Vijay sales ew site to keep "Keep a copy of your purchase invoice bearing the IMEI/Serial Number ready." Then why this technician :(name: Kishan) didn't help us.
Team, it is my humble request to intervene and provide support. Nobody during sales talks about these stickers to be kept to get support during after-sales service. People only know to keep the invoice safe and handy, that's what I did. The sales guy should be properly trained about this. Was this information helpful? |
