The undersigned had used the broadband services of Vision Smartlink Networking Pvt Ltd for more than 2 years. However, post the lock-down, the undersigned observed frequent disruption (23+ complaints from 20/04/2020 till 12/03/2021) in services resulting in abnormal increase in downtime of broadband services. Even after repeated requests, there was no improvement in the services.
With frequent disruption in services resulting in challenges for me, my spouse in our office work and my son in his online classes, I decided to go for termination of services and wrote an email on 12/03/2021 for terminating the broadband services and process the refund after adjusting for the time period during which broadband services were utilized. However, they responded by saying that the complaint is given top priority and they are trying to resolve the issues.
The undersigned did not find any improvement in services for all the past few months and hence was not interested in continuing their broadband services and hence told them to go ahead with termination.
The company wrote that there is "no refund policy" and hence they cannot process the refund. The undersigned made it very clear to them that the "no refund policy" is not communicated in writing. In fact, I told them that I did not even get receipt for the online payment of 7434/- done on 30/01/2021 towards renewal of services for a period of 1 year + 4 months bonus starting 04/02/2021. Moreover, the decision to terminate the services is taken due to frequent disruption in services and therefore "no refund policy" is not applicable in this case. Also, since receipt for online payment of 7434/- is also received making their claim of "no refund policy" null & void.
The undersigned wrote multiple reminders to the company for processing the refund but the same is not yet done. Moreover, the company communicated that they are not processing refund as per "no refund policy".
I am herewith attaching the entire email communication done with the company. It has details of all the complaints made by me between 20/04/2020 to 13/02/2021.
The desirable resolution is a request for refund amounting to 6680/- after deducting charges of 754/- for the period 04/02/2021 to 13/02/2021.
