[Resolved] Vodafone — 3G service Spped Problem | |||
I had 3GB unlimited plan worth 655 which gives 64kbps speed post 3GB usage. Post 3GB usage and before expiry of this plan I activated 1GB 3G plan worth 255 but I did not receive 3G speed. My speed was capped at 64kbps from the previous plan. I called Vodafone customer service and lodged complaint on 14th September 2014 and even filed appeal to Vodafone appellate service. But the only reason they give is bad network coverage in my area. For months I have been using 3G with no speed problem and suddenly the bad network causes speed problems, how ironical. I told them how come others living around me get good speed and they replied its my handset fault. I have also checked 3G of my handset using other's sim card and no problem whatsoever. I told them it might be a program code problem which was caused due to overwriting of old plan with new plan which couldn't incorporate all variables and thus speed cap was carried on in new plan. Please show some decency to atleast accept that this might be a problem or find out the real problem. Do not always give bad network coverage as the reason for every problem. Begs me to question the educational qualifications of the staff. They have even disconnected phone out of frustration while on conversation with me and talked very rudely. This should not happen with such a big company. They even mailed me that my Rs 255 would be refunded and then deny saying that. Tells me that they will look into it after the response of higher authority. You should not go back on your decision. Such unprofessional response from Vodafone is highly unacceptable. I have attached their mail printscreen. I want my money refunded. It has been 15 days since the report of the problem and no solution has resulted. Was this information helpful? | |||

But now they say that this plan is not applicable on my phone, while I already received a recharge successful message. After mails to and fro, they wrote to me saying they have refunded my balance and credited Rs.533/- talk time out of Rs.599/- that I had paid. First deficiency in service and on top of that, they deduct my money. Moreover, I use this number only for internet, on my tab for and no calls, so what use is talk time to me? I have lost considerable amount of work and time because of this problem, since 26/09/2014.
