Vodafone India — Complaint Against Tarrif Issue

Hi Maithri,

I have taken Vodafone connection of Wifi Hotspot with Number [protected] on 24-Aug-2016.

I have taken it under the plan that I have to pay for 6 Months Advance Rental so that I will get the Device at free of Cost and I will have a discount of 999/- per month for 6 Months on the tariff. I was under 10GB Plan when I have purchased the device.

Since I have moved to New Flat on 18th Aug 2016, I didn't have the proper address proofs so my Friend Abhijith (Copied in this email) has taken the connection on his name.

I have changed the plan to 30GB plan on 15-Oct-2016 after the discussion with Customer care on call that Plan tariff would be 2999/- per month. I was promised that discount will still be applicable on the new tarrif. Only upon which I have moved to the new plan.

But When I have received the bill for November month, This discount was not provided. Same is the case with December Month bill. I didn't pay the bill and wanted to complain to customer care and get it resolved and Pay it finally.

I have raised the complaint for the same on the first week of January 2017. I have even visited Vodafone Office in AECS layout, Bangalore with the hope that issue will be resolved. But It didn't happen.

Unfortunately, I received a call from Vodafone legal desk on 13th Jan 2017 and was threatened to Barr the connection along with our other Vodafone connections if the bill was not paid immediately. The representative was so rude and was absolutely not interested in listening to my part of the issue.

Just to ensure My friend wont be impacted due to issue, I have paid the balance bill immediately.

I would request you to look into this issue and respond with the proper solution. I have deactivated the Hotspot device on 13th Jan 2017 after the bill payment.

I am entitled to receive the discount which Vodafone promised me while taking the device. If that is not possible, there should have been restriction in the changing the plan in between, which did not happen.

I hope I will get proper response from you on this.
