[Resolved] Vodafone India — fake offer by representative and extra bill | |||||
My father has vodafone number ([protected]) which is not in use since last one year. I kept paying bill for initial few months. Post that i could not pay for few months. Customer care representative called me and said your bill is due which was i knew. I said "yes" i know, i will pay but i need to close the connection as my father is too old now and not in condition to operate any phone. Representative suggested i can use number. I said i already have number from another vendor and i am satisfied with it. Moreover, i don't need such costly plan as i would use this sim as second one and not first one. Hence i offer to pay full amount and close the connection. But representative suggested me to pay half bill till date, then he would wave-off remaining half bill and change my plan to lower rate. So i paid half bill in sep18 and then there was no further action taken. No bill was waved off moreover next two months full amount around 699 each was charged even though my father neither did single call or sms nor he received any call/sms. Now vodafone wants me to pay full bill including 699 for next two months whereas i had plan to pay full bill in sep 18 and close the connection once and for all. The next representative says there is no such offer and we cannot wave-off anything. Cheater... Full of cheaters... Was this information helpful? | |||||
