[Resolved] Vodafone India — falsely charged for international roaming
I was on a vacation in India. I traveled to Dawki river and Myllyong village in Shillong however Vodafone claims that I went to Bangladesh and due to which i have been charged international roaming. When I contacted vodafone customer care i have been told that "It is a valid charge, since you were in Meghalaya and it is necessary to have international roaming to be activated in Meghalaya".They also offered a 500 rupees discount. This is matter of principles. I have physical proof on my passport that i havent travelled to bangladesh. Executive even made a statement "Meghalaya to be part of Bangladesh". This whole episode is absurd, firstly you are questioning integrity of country by mentioning Meghalaya to be part of Bangladesh and then you claim it to be valid charges. Was this information helpful?
