[Resolved] Vodafone India — money not being refunded for post paid order | |||
Hi Sir, On 21st November 2019, I placed an order for a premium number [protected] on vodafone portal directly and paid a sum of Rupees 1935/- towards the number. The order (order id DCHD[protected]) was successfully placed and I used my HDFC Netbanking for the transaction. The next day, I had a vodafone guy coming to my house for the activation. After getting all the details, he said the activation to the premium number caannot be done as currently Vodafone doesn't had the facility. I immidiately called vodafone customer cre and requested for order cancellation. The order cancellation was processed however the money was not refunded to me. In the meanwhile I went to a vodafone store and bought the number [protected]. I send multiple emails from 21st November till date to the vodafone customer care. I sent emails to appellate.[protected]@vodafoneidea.com; [protected]@vodafoneidea.com; nodal.[protected]@vodafoneidea.com multiple times regarding my refund. After some days I got an email stating that " As per system record your mobile number [protected] already activated on 21-Nov-2019. Hence we are unable to cancel the order for the same" The customer care team states that the order was placed for [protected] and it was activated. However the order was placed only for [protected] for which I paid the money online. I got an email from a person called Kalaiselvi stating she is from Vodaafone Appelate and was requesting my bank statement. I refused to provide my bank statement as it was my salary account and had lot of confidential transactions. Till now I havent got the refund. Today I got a message that my refund for Rs 0 has been processed towards the order DCHD[protected] and they have closed the case. Hence I request you to kindly help me in this and the vodafone needs to provide me the refund of Rs 1985/- towards the order DCHD[protected] belonging to the number [protected] Was this information helpful? | |||
