[Resolved] Vodafone India — postpaid to prepaid | |||
I have decided to convert my postpaid number to prepaid and visited avadi vodafone store on 24th of nov (Arundhatipalaiyam, avadi, tamil nadu 600071). I was asked to pay my outstanding amount and rental amount up to dec 03rd - rs.439 and rs. 178 for prepaid sim activation. I have paid all the due amount and conversion fee and submitted all my proofs for the prepaid sim activation. I got the new prepaid sim card and i was informed that the process will start only on dec 03rd (Not sure why that much delay). Adding to this, i was informed that the postpaid sim will be de-activated and then i can activate my new prepaid sim with the same mobile number 9962xxxxxx. My postpaid sim did not get de-activated and reached out to the customer care on 4th of dec 2018. Complaint #[protected]. I was assured that there will be a solution by 5th of december 2018 6pm. But there was no solution. Again i reached out to the customer care on 6th of dec and i enquired about the complaint #[protected]. I was informed that the ticket was closed. This was done without my consent/resolution. A new complaint was raised for the same problem complaint #[protected] on 6th of dec and i informed the executive not to close the ticket without my confirmation. I also reached out to the avadi vodafone store on 6th of dec. When enquired they informed that it is being processed by the back office team. Once again i reached out to the customer care to check the status of my complaint #[protected]. As usual the ticket was closed without any resolution. The executive asked me to check with the vodafone store for prepaid sim activation. If i reach out to the customer care they are asking to contact vodafone store and when i reach out to the store they inform that the back office team is processing the request. No one is taking up the responsibility. Everyone is throwing the ball to the other person. If this is going to happen and i need to keep following behind you people when there will be a solution for my problem? One of the worst customer service i ever faced in my life time. Adding to this i was also informed that i need to pay the rental amount from dec 4th till the postpaid number gets deactivated. When there is a mistake from the client side and they are asking the customer to pay the bill. How come this is possible? Looking for a solution asap. Was this information helpful? | |||
