Vodafone India — unauthorised vas charges | |||
Dear Sir/Madam I have been a Vodafone Customer(Vodafone Mobile No [protected]) for past few years. Recently I noted there were multiple cases o[censored]nauthorised VALUE ADDED SERVICE (VAS)activation from my phone number ([protected]). I checked and again rechecked if the value added services were activated by me. But I could not find even once where I have given a request of activation of any VAS. There has been multiple instances for the last 3 months approx where a VAS service gets activated without my authorisation. As a result I have been incurring unnecessary extra charges but to no avail.Often the service gets activated even when my phone is switched off . How can this go on? Furthermore The Vodafone Relationship Centre at Sarat Bose Rd, Sreepally, Elgin, Kolkata, West Bengal 700020 failed to provide any relief in spite of complaints. They neither took any written complaint and blamed the phone company. They said that it was MOTOROLA company responsible and not the Service Provider and thus refused to take any complaint. I demand an immediate end to this nuisance because now this is basically harassment. Please look into the matter and provide relief at the earliest.
