[Resolved] Vodafone India — vodafone penalized me for recharging before due date. | |||
On 01.11.2018, i recharged my vodafone prepaid number with rs.509 (90 days-unlimited calls-1.5gb/day) & next recharge due date was 29.01.2019. On 11.01.2019 i. E. 18 days before the due date, i again recharged with rs.399 (84 days-unlimited calls-1gb/day). The new due date should have been 23.04.19 but my account and app showed as 04.04.2019. Also, the data plan has changed to 1gb/day from 11.01.2019. It was obvious that the system calculated the next due date from the date of recharge not from the actual validity expiry date. It means that the service provider has penalized me for recharging before the due date. I emailed the whole matter to vodafone customer care. First, i thought that software had some bug or due to some technical reason it happened. But after going through their reply email, i realized that this is usually done intentionally by this company. The told that when customer recharges before the due date, the remaining days are overlapped with the new plan. But this clause is not mentioned on their website or mobile app i recharged. What about those 18 days (11.01.2019 to 29.01.2019) for which i paid twice? Service provider can't charge me twice for a service. Even, their website / mobile app should not do the recharge before due date or at least warn the customer regarding the overlapping of the remaining validity days. I emailed many times to vodafone customer care regarding this but they refused to add those 18 days in my validity period. This is a very bad practice and in this way, they loot the customers with these such cheap tactics. Was this information helpful? | |||

I am using corporate postpaid plan for the No.[protected]. I am not getting the bill on my registered mail id for the same. Kindly arrange to send the bills on my registered email id regularly.

My registered mail id is [email protected]. Previously I was getting the bills regularly but since 1 year I am not getting bills so I am facing problem each and every time while paying my bills.
I have taken post paid connection last month and facing below problems, I request to deactivate my mobile number
Network is slow
No proper internet
No reasonable charges ( in Website Showing 399 and getting bill is 455)

I recharged my number with 199 rs. for unlimited talktime. Yet there is a deduction of rs 30 as GST and 168rs as acess fee.
And the problem is it says recharge successful, but i cant make calls or use my data service.
Why is it happening like this.?
Is this a new scheme of Vodafone to loot the customers in broad day light.
