[Resolved]  Vodafone — upc code not being provided

Kindly help me get the upc code to enable me to port out. I am trying since last 8 days now.

I am getting following message upon sending the sms request:

"upc cannot be generated for the reasons: (1) there are subsisting contractual obligations with your service provider. Please contact your service provider for further assistance"

After this i have made several mails and also answered to some calls from vodafone initially assuring me to resolve the issue. However, now i am neither getting any reply nor any call. There is no way that i can connect with vodafone apart from their customer care id which anyways in not solving the issue.

Please let me know what i am required to do to resolve this issue.

My complaint has not been resolved yet. I once again wrote at their customer care and again mail was recieved that there is some technical glitch for generating UPC code in one of my number. For the other 2, they asked me to clear the outstanding, which I did. Now, after that again they asked me to follow the same steps of sending SMS, which I did. But UPC code was given to only one number. For the other 2 numbers, still the code has not been generated and below message is received.

UPC cannot be generated for reasons: (1) There are subsisting contractual obligations with your service provider. Please contact y 1900

So, after 10 days of struggle I am back to same condition. And I have no option to contact any person from Vodafone. This is frustrating and really very bad. Is there no laws to curb such type of haraassment. I must have some way to contact the service provided directly on phone.

Now again vodafone is asking me to pay 30 paise as the outstanding and informed that this is why my request is not processed. It may be noted that I was given same reason earlier also about outstanding and I have cleared all outstandings already. Now, if they are making delay in resolving the issue then some outstanding will always be accumulated like now they are indicating 30 paise. However, my Vodafone app is saying zero outstanding. It is ridiculous to hold my request for 30 paise outstanding after I have already struggled for last 10 days and paid all the dues already 7 days ago. I have got atleast 3 times call from vodafone assuring me to provide me the UPC code within 30 minutes, and that they will confirm me the same by calling back, but no one has called. This is gross harassment and torture which I am being put and this seems to be going no where. If I pay 30 paise today, and if they do not provide the code by tomorrow may be another 5 paise will be outstanding and again they will ask to clear that and the cycle can continue for ever.

I request you to kindly put my case to some higher authority as I have no option to contact from my side to them. This is most inhuman gesture to harass common public during the trying times.
