[Resolved] Voltas — Pathetic post sales service; no professionalism, service request no. - [protected] | |||
I called Voltas Customer Care [protected] on Friday 21st of April 2017 to book a free service of Voltas 1.5 ton split AC. I received this request no. and was told that the technician will come in 24 hours. On asking if she can tell me about time slot when technician will visit or his name or contact number. She said that she cant give any such details and that the Technician will call on his own before coming. I found it weird as somebody has to be home throughout 24 hours for getting it serviced. I stayed back at home whole Friday and waited till Saturday mid day. I made a call and get to know from customer care that service center does not work on Saturday and sunday and they actually meant 24 working hours. According to them, technician can come anytime till Tuesday end of their working hours. This was ridiculous to know that people like us who works whole week and can get time only on weekends to get such services done cant really get it done as the service center near to my home doesn't work on weekends. As a result, I took leave from work on Monday to be available at home. Surprisingly, no one turned up. I again called customer care and they just repeated that same answers that they will make sure that technician visits on Tuesday as they have maximum 3 days TAT and that they are making my request as urgent. I had to take off on Tuesday as well. Till midday, I had called customer service thrice and everytime they gave me same stupid stories. They also gave me a service center number to contact to[protected] named some vintage service center where phone kept ringing but no body picked my n number of calls. On complaining about the same to customer care, they were like Mam we cant make calls but we are sending request that they will give you a call asap. No calls received. Lastly, all frustrated, I called customer care again to talk to some manager/supervisor, whom I was told is busy and that a call back will be arranged the moment he will get free and their TAT is 4 hours. I am not surprised not to get any calls from any technician or any surpervisor or manager because voltas is a most pathetic company I have bought a product from. I fail to understand what kind of TAT they follow or they are just sitting their to fool customers. Was this information helpful? | |||
Apr 28, 2017 Complaint marked as Resolved Finally I got the call from the Technician itself. He visited and serviced the AC. He informed that the person responsible for my locality is on leaves and he is overburdened with work and everybody is after his life. This shows how planned and managed is their service centers.
