[Resolved] Voltas — replacement of inverter ac 1.5 ton | |||
Customer ID No. [protected]. We purchased Voltas Inverter AC 1.5 TR 185 VDYE DC on 15 May 2018 thinking that & it was installed on 19 May 2018. We have been facing a lot of problems since we bought the AC. It has been repaired two times in two months. On 28 May 2018 the AC stopped working showing F4 error. I sent a complaint mail to [protected]@conneqtcorp.com. The tech came on 29 May 2018 and said there is no gas in AC (report attached). On 31 May 2018, the techs replaced the gas cylinder. Then they found another fault at the outdoor unit - the copper pipe had a hole. They cut the defected part of the copper pipe and welded a joint as temporary solution (Pic attached). I demanded the replacement of AC immediately as there was a major defect in the AC. On 02 Jun 2018 the AC stopped working showing F4 error again. On 03 Jun 2018 the techs came and said the wiring between the indoor and outdoor units has been wrongly done by the tech who installed the AC. They changed the connections and it is ok now and the problem will not reoccur. I did not the sign the service report as I wanted a replacement. YOu see I purchased this AC on EMIs at a price of 38, 880/-. and I have been given a defected AC I need replacement. Voltas Customer Care told me to speak to Mr Jitender Chariya. I spoke to him and he refused saying that the defect in the copper pipe is does not come under manufacturing defect. I do not understand the definition of manufacturing defect of Mr Chariya. The defect was in the outdoor unit. It was his tech that came and opened the outdoor unit, found hole in pipe, then cut it and welded it. On 17 July 2018 the AC has again stopped working showing F4 error again. Now, I neither want to get the AC repaired nor replaced. I want a full refund of my money because the Voltas has given us a defected AC. Was this information helpful? | |||

The Voltas online team has been assuring me from 29 May 2018 that the problem will be solved. But every time there is a new problem with the AC.
I want to be refunded the complete money so I can buy a some other brand AC ASAP. We bought the AC as a relief for hot summer but by giving us a defectrd AC our summer has become much hotter.
