Meter is defective since long time ago. Complaint lodged several times by telephonic conversation, personal approaches at talpukur ccc located at muktapukur, old calcutta road barrackpore, kolkata - 700123, by sending letters through speed post since. Feb 2917 for replacement of defective meter with a new one. But no +ve response was received. Lastly, on 18th october 2017, meter replaced with another one. But the officials now came to note down/record meter reading for preparation of quarterly bill for the period from january to march 2018, told the care taker (Watch man) of our apartment (Shyamnilaya, 45/a, old calcutta road, daspara barrackpore, po-talpukur, dist - north 24 parganas, west bengal, pin-700123) that the meter replaced on 18 th october 2017 is also faulty/defective. Hence, they could not record reading.
It clearly shows that i have been suffering from the problem since last one year. The bills which were sent to me for making payment, were prepared on estimated meter reading and those were incorrect as not. Prepared considering the exact consumption of electricity.
The defective energy meter requires immediate replacement.
