Dear Sir, I am Jyotsna Sarkar, w/o- Late Dhiren Sarkar, vill- Chhinui, P.O- Nimo, P.S- Memari, Dist- Purba-BWN, Pin- 713146. I got electric connection and meter dated on 24/04/2010 as a biri labour. After three months of connection i did not get any bill. So I used to visit the electric office. But the staffs told me that there were not any master card or record in the office. So i gave an application to ready my bill as soon as possible. But they didn't. Now 2019 year, they send me a bill of 32891 rupees. So here are two problems, first high rate per unit, second high bill onetime that i am unable to pay. So i visited to memari electricity office(WBSEDCL) and told to make a monthly installment within five hundreds but they did not listen and made monthly installment 1400 rupees. But i could not pay 1400 rupees per month and they cut my electricity line. Not only that, they making compound interest day by day for that bill. So sir it is electricity department's fault, they should generate a bill after three months of meter connection but didn't. And now they are doing dishonesty with me.
So, sir I am requesting you that help me to reconnect my line with a monthly installment within 500 rupees that I am able to pay. Thank You

Updated by Ramprosad Sarkar I am so sad to say that this problem is not resolved. WBSEDCL has disconnected my electric line about 15 days ago and now they are making high compound interest on that bill. It is so unfair that I got electric connection on 24/04/2010 on gov. scheme as poor biri labour and WBSEDCL did not send my electric bills in right time and now they are doing with me what they wish to do, totally illegal . Now I am suffering from darkness in this freedom country.

Updated by Ramprosad Sarkar INDIA IS A FREEDOM COUNTRY. SO, I MUST HAVE RIGHT TO GET FREEDOM.
BELOW IS MY CLAIMS AND CONDITIONS---

1.- You should reconnect my electric line immediately.

2.- You made a wrong energy charge calculation. Because the electric connection date is 24/04/2010 and your first meter reading date is 02/03/2019(bill date- 04/06/2019). So the calculation will be like this----
=(02/03/2019 minus 24/04/2010)=8 years 11 months
=(8 year 11 months divided by 3)= approxi 36 quarters.
=(first meter reading 3536 units divided by 36)= approxi 98 units per quarters
=(98 units multiply with your per unit rate slabs)= Right bill calculation.

3.- You should give me 107 months to pay the bill completely.

4.- It is your fault, why i give any interest for that bill?

5.- Why are you making estimate bill after disconnection?

>Electricity is first necessary thing, it means not that you can do anything. You should fulfill my conditions and reconnect the line as soon as possible. Thank You
