Western Digital — Hard drive failure @ 33 days then RMA not honored.

Received a brand new 2 TB Western Digital hard drive from the Western digital store on 9/8/21. Failed on 10/13/21, after 33 days o[censored]se. Was forced to pay for shipping and sent it back under RMA. has been in their hands almost a month and no sign of a replacement. Was lied to in a chat with customer support. They claimed the drive would be shipped in 2 business days and it has not been shipped.

Western Digital sent me a 5400 rpm drive as a replacement for the 7200 rpm drive that failed. I notified customer service and they claim they will send me the correct drive version. So it will either never happen or maybe a correct replacement will arrive in several months if I'm lucky.
