Western Digital — hard drives

In the last 4 years i've had 4 western digital defective hard drives, latest being only months old / blue 1tb. They offered an upgraded h/d as a peace offering but never delivered / never kept their promise. I need dependable units anyways, i have some seagate h/d's that are 10+ years old & still function perfectly. On all my future builds, seagate will be my choice to use.

Updated by Rayser Note # WD was contacted prior to this complaint & offered me a upgraded H/D to me but never sent one. Since this post W/D made zero contact with me, ever again & suspect they won't. Besides having defects, when buying a product the treatment & service you receive afterwords speaks volumes. You may want to consider other H/D manufacturers before deciding to buy a W/D in the future?
