[Resolved] Whirlpool India — misleading or faulty service from authorized technician | |||
My Whirlpool top load washing machine suddenly stopped working last week and I raised a service request by calling Whirlpool customer care. SR no. is BA[protected]. Whirlpool technician ([protected]) misguided me through out after inspecting the machine briefly. He informed that Motor & Gear Box are damaged and approx repair cost would be 9-10k. He took 480/- and left my premises. But I got a doubt and called a local technician. He inspected the machine properly and fixed it by repairing the PCB. Now the machine is working fine. Today I called Whirlpool customer support team to lodge a complaint against the technician and demanded a refund of 480/-. But she asked me to talk to the technician directly. When I contacted him for the refund, he denied to do so. At first place company technician gives wrong information, misleads the customer and then denies to pay back the service charge which he doesn't deserve to have. I have never expected such an unprofessional service from a company. Please take strict actions against the company who try to mislead and loot customers and also do the needful for the refund of 480/-. I don't want to pay this fees to these guys because they tried to cheat me. Was this information helpful? | |||
