Whirlpool India — the service guy damaged the capacitor of my washing machine and is now asking me to pay | |||
I had called up whirlpool customer service to register a complaint for my washing machine on dec 1 2019. Complaint number bg[protected]. A technician named guru from max serve solutions (Authorized service provider of whirlpool) came in and checked the issue. He was pulling a wire and either by mistake or purposefully broke the wire that connects to the capacitor. Then he started telling that the capacitor has an issue and that needs to be replaced and i have to pay rs. 2200/- i told him that i can't pay for his mistake, but he simply did not agree and left collecting the visiting charges of rs. 470 from me. I told him that i will raise a complaint with whirlpool and he seemed to be least bothered about it. I then raised a complaint with whirlpool on this issue and even followed it up multiple times. I only get to hear that they will send a senior technician and get it fixed and that i do not need to pay anything more. The complaint was never attended to. On dec 5, when i again followed up, they said that the complaint was closed as the customer was not ready to pay for the capacitor. This is now back to square one and just causes a lot of stress to me. Seems whirlpool is not at all interested in their customers and employ service folks with such bad behaviour Was this information helpful? | |||
