Woodland — faulty woodland shoes

Dear sir,

I had purchased woodland shoes on 08/08/2020 through woodland online official store. The shoes were delivered to me on 15/08/2020.

I hardly used the shoes for 03 days and the sole of the shoes got separated from the shoes. I complained via email to the company's official email id on 24/08/2020 about the damaged shoes. I received response on 25/08/2020 from woodland customer care to handover the damaged shoes to the woodland showroom.in response to their mail i enquired about whether the showroom will accept the damaged shoes or not and whether i will receive the replacement across table or refund of my money immediately. To which they didnot respond to my query at all and only sent the address of their two showrooms on 28/08/2020. I then duly handed over the shoes to their andheri west showroom, mumbai on 29/08/2020 without wasting even a single day. Post which i informed the woodland customer care that the shoes have been handed over to the andheri west showroom and sent them the copy of pod received by me via whatsapp from the showroom for having dispatched the shoes to the company. Then i waited for almost more than 10 days and when i didnot receive any response/replacement/refund from them, i again wrote to them on 10th september, 2020. To which i received a standard reply from the company on 10th september, 2020 and was asked to send the scan copy of the repair slip. I was not told to obtain the repair slip by the company in their mail dated 25/08/2020, they had only advised to handover the shoes to the nearest showroom for defect evaluation. I informed the said fact to the company via my email dated 11th september, 2020. I also informed the company that i had already sent them copy of the pod. Its now more than 13 days there has been no response from woodland about replacement of shoes or refund of my money along with interest and travelling expenses. I was left with no option but to complain here. I was a genuine customer of woodland from many years but now i have totally lost faith in the product.
