[Resolved] Xiaomi India — defective redmi note 7 replacement not resolved | |
Guys please be careful while ordering from mi.com they have pathetic after sale service. I purchased the recently launched redmi note 7 onyx black 4gb/64gb version from mi.com. As i was setting up the new device i noticed that the touchscreen won't work and that the product i received is defective. I raised the complaint on email on 1st april 2019. I was asked to send them videos and pictures of the defective phone over email which i obviously did. I was assured on call from mi on 3rd april 2019 that the replacement will be done in 24 hours. However, it's been 7 days since the call and i still haven't received the replacement. I called mi multiple times and also communicated the problem over multiple emails. Apr 19, 2019 Complaint marked as Resolved After 2 weeks of continuous emails and calls to their support team the defective phone was replaced. I also had to take help of social media sites like Facebook and Twitter so get my issue resolved. I continuously posted my complaint on their Twitter and also commented on their post on Facebook. This helped me get the replacement. | |
