[Resolved] Yamaha Motor India — I'm complaining about yamaha service
It was a great ambition for me to posses an Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi vehicle (two wheeler). My dream has realized in June 2020. I was very proud to introduce my vehicle to my friends and relatives. But my whole joy and good opinion about the Yamaha Company has gone through my bad experiences that I had when I approached for Service at your official Show Room and Service Center at Iritty, Kannur, Kerala, from where I had purchased the vehicle. When I shared my bad experiences to my colleagues only I understood that actually was simply cheated by my Service Center at Iritty. I would like to point out the following bad experiences to you for your immediate attention and remedy: 1. When I enquire to my friends and colleagues all reveal that before the due date of service all other Companies and service centers inform their customers well in advance the due date, but it never happened in my case. 2. I was informed that I have to produce the vehicle on the same date mentioned in the Service Book and if failed they will charge penalty. While other service centers charge Rs. 350/- as penalty, I was charged Rs. 400/-. 3. They have cut short the Warranty period, knowing that the vehicle has Engine Complaint, when I brought the vehicle for Service. I was not able to produce the vehicle in April 2021 for Service because of my marriage and Government of Kerala has announced Lock Down. I was able to produce the vehicle only in August. At that time the Camshaft Assy has to be changed. But what they have done is to cut short my Warranty period!!! 4. When I went for Service in August, the Service people told me that the Service date was already extended to June 30, 2021. Unless it is informed me either through message or through phone call, how I know that the time is extended only up to June 30 ? 5. After the Service in August, while demanding the bill for the Service they have provided the "job card"! I think this is a document that should be kept at Service Center. Why they have given this "job card" to me? 6. Since I had such bad experiences from the Service Center where I used to give my vehicle for Service, I gave my vehicle to another Center for Service. I have already complained in the official website of the Yamaha Company . After that a call has come and enquired about the complaint. But nothing has come out as an outcome. I tried to call them, but they never lift the phone. Was this information helpful?
