[Resolved]  Yamaha Motor India — Yamaha FZ-S Valve and Roxker Arm Jammed in the Initial Stage

Palani (Father) Place of Purchase: Walters Yamaha (SVD Motors) Address of Show Room: #740, T.H. Road, New Washermenpet, Chennai -600081. Ph: 25910222 Hi, Myself is Arun. Working in MRF. I bought Yamaha FZ-S in the name of my Father on 26th August, 2015 evening in Walters Yamaha, who is an authorized dealer of Yamaha. Problems with my Bike before delivery Muffler has been scratched. I told to replace them. They have replaced. Forget to give the Tool kit and First Aid kit. After asking them, they have given that. Issues after Delivery On the next day after I bought the bike, as it is a new bike, I have founded that the bottom of the bike is fully covered with the rain water dirt. Some one while taking the bike to the RTO (which is 1 km apart from the showroom) for registration has made this and they didn't even cleaned and delivered me. The next day when I took the bike for a ride, I felt that the sound of the engine has been changed and an extra different noise came from engine. And also the idling response during the start up was not responsive even I will put the choke and start via Kicker. As I'm an Automobile Engineering Graduate, I have noticed it and took it to the Showroom on that day itself. Mr. Siva who is a Sales executive in that Showroom only has delivered me the bike on the before day. I told him about the issue. But he replied that it's not a big issue and they will correct that during the 1st service. My bike has travelled 625 Kms so far. I have maintained the speed ratio between 40-45km. I won't be using my bike in rainy climate. After 625 kms, I took my bike for the 1st service on 19th September 2015. I told all the issues I faced during by 625 kms ride and they have told that they will check and intimate me incase of any problem. After few hours, I got a call from Walters Yamaha. A service inspection man spoke to me and told that I have been rash driving the bike and due to that Valve and Rocker Arm has been jammed. I rushed to the Showroom and told everything clearly how I have using the bike from the delivery and told them the issues which I got the next day of the delivery. But they are refusing to accept their faults. I don't know how a valve and rocker arm can be damaged in a soft riding and also don't know whether the bike itself has came with this problem or the showroom person has made a rash drive during the registration. But they are charging me for their fault. Everyone is blaming me for some one's mistake. Myself only used the vehicle till the date. Will anyone think to buy a Bike from Yamaha hereafter if such problems are faced by Customers? Please take it is a severe issue. If any action is not taken within time, I'm going to file a case on Both Yamaha Motors and Walters Yamaha.
