Hi team, I had purchased Yamaha Alpha during September 2018. At the time of purchase I had faced serious problems with HDFC financer and was forced to opt out of financing option and proceeded with the full cash payment for purchase. I would like to bring to your attention that when I opted out of financing and chose cash payment, I expected my insurance to be devoid of any hypothecation in favour of HDFC. But the branch which sold the bike did not apply for hypothecation removal back then and I was kind enough to give them a reasonable time for removing the hypothecation. Now, it is 8 months since I bought my bike and the insurance is still hypothecated in favour of HDFC. Inspire of regular follow ups with the alandur branch manager of Yamaha Bikerz, I am still waiting a solution for this issue. I am not hopeful of any resolution in this regard and therefore I have decided my course of action. I will be dropping my bike at Yamaha Bikerz by Friday evening if this issue is not resolved till then and hand over the keys to them and will proceed legally.
