[Resolved] Yatra Online / Yatratrip.in — Cancels ticket without proper information | |||||
Hi. I have booked a flight from Mumbai to Jaipur for 15th April'17 from Yatra Online site. The booking reference number is[protected] and i booked the flight on 26th March'17. After paying Rs. 3068/-, i got the mail from yatra about the confirmation of the ticket and along with the PNR value as "OEPORT". Then suddenly on 9th April'17 i got the mail that my booking was not confirmed and that they are trying to reach me on my number([protected]) but it was not available. The number they were calling was my old number so i changed my number to [protected] on the yatra profile so that they could contact me on my new number. Also in the mail they only mentioned the reference number and not the flight details. So my complaint is regarding following points: 1. 14 days after my booking yatra contacted me saying that my booking is not confirmed. When i contacted yatra.com customer support, they mentioned that Yatra executive get dynamic rates and sometimes ticket doesnt get confirmed due to changing rates. But the point is they knew on 26th March itself that the ticked was not confirmed then why have they waited 14 days to tell me that my ticket is not confirmed?? They contacted me on 9th April which is just 6 days before my flight, i think it is there scheme to get more money from the passengers!! 2. The mail in which they mentioned that my ticket is not confirmed, they only mentioned the reference number and nothing about the flight details. After 14 days, nobody remembers the reference number. They should mentioned reference number and the flight details together in the mail for the better knowledge of the passenger. I think it is there Ponzi Scheme to give less information to the passengers. 3. The mail in which they mentioned that my ticket is not confirmed, they mentioned that they could not reach my phone. Since the number was wrong in my Yatra profile, i changed my number at that instant so that they could call me on my new number. But no they were still calling me on my old number. When i talked to the Yatra customer service person, he said mobile number is as per what is mentioned at the time of booking. I accept the number at the time of booking is wrong. But they could have asked for the new number in the mail itself or they could have taken my new number from my Yatra profile. Since they manage dynamic fares they could easily manage dynamic numbers of customers as well!!! If you need any more details, let me know. Was this information helpful? | |||||

However, failed to reach you as your phone was out of coverage area. We have also sent the email on your registered email id and since we didn't received any response.
