I have booked tickets from DELHI to TORONTO on Dated 05/03/2020 and NEW YORK to DELHI on dated 21/03/2020 vide booking ref no. YT[protected]CATHAY PACIFIC) through a travel agency YATRA.COM, due to COVID-19 my return Flight got cancelled and rescheduled on 31/03/2020. after the first lockdown extended all the airports shut down as well as all the flights grounded. I got a mail from Cathay pacific which is clearly written on that who are not Hong Kong residents will be denied entry to Hong Kong, including travellers transiting through Hong Kong. after received this mail I constantly trying to contact them on customer care but not responding. whenever I mailed they replied, the airline has not shared any information regarding refund. We would like to keep you informed that due to several travel restrictions and district lockdowns imposed by the government to control the widespread of COVID-19, our airline partners are receiving an unprecedented volume of cancellation and rescheduling requests. This is causing refunds to get processed much longer than usual at the airline end. Please expect a delay for the refund requests to get processed.
