Summary :
o I trusted and booked though Yatra booking reference :[protected], Hotel confirmation number : YATA[protected], But Yatra.com has totally failed to confirm the booking with Krishna Palace
o It is the option given by Yatra to book in Claresta, hosur . I didn’t even know such hotel existed. And they promised the alternate booking there.. but that is also not confirmed
o Totally un professional behavior by Yatra Employees ( Aditi and Sandeep) by giving wrong promises and mis-communication
o I have lost peace of mind on my well-earned vacation and made my family stand on the roads for more than 3 hrs.
o I ended up Paying RS. 5105 instead just paying Rs. 1505 /- of none of my mistake.
o Till today I did not receive any payment from yatra
It was such a worst experience with Yatra. Com on April 7th . There is no commitment on the booking. And there were lot of false promises made and totally unprofessional way of handling the customer which resulted in loss of money and suffering for entire family. Please read through the sequence of events to understand the issue better and how myself and family have suffered because of YATRA.com

• Have booked a stay for one night ( for April 7th) in Hosur though Yatra.com ( Booking refernce :[protected], when I tried booking on April 6th I had a challenge with payment I have received a call within few minutes, I was impressed with prompt call. Some one helped me to complete the booking and received the booking confirmation as well in few minutes. Everything was going fine till then.

• On 7th Evening, after a very tiring day, I went to the hotel I booked ( Sri Krishna Palace Business Hotel, Hosur ), at evening 7.45 PM . To my surprise, hotel management told me that there is no booking made for me by Yatra and they did not get any confirmation . I tried calling Yatra Help line, it took 20 minutes to get connected to an Executive ( Aditi), I explained to her about my situation, She requested me to give the phone to the Hotel person. She talked to them, nothing worked out. In between she cut the line, I had to dial again and wait for 20 minutes to get connected ( Thanks to IVR). After spending nearly an hour in the hotel they said they do not have room to accommodate us.

• Then Ms. Aditi Gave an option, she said she has booked an alternate hotel “ Claresta Hotels “ . I asked multiple times about the confirmation . She told me that she has spoken to claresta and will also send a confirmation to my Mail ID and SMS. Unfortunately I did not get any SMS or Mail .

• I reached Claresta around 9.15 PM. Again a big surprise, Manager in Claresta also said ( Mr.Subham) they did not get any confirmation from Yatra and NO ROOMS were booked on our name . He said he can give us the room but they need a voucher from Yatra . Again I called Yatra Help line, She came online after 20 minutes and said, she has already sent the mail to hotel. But hotel mail box did not have the mails. Drama continued there also, she asked me to give the phone to hotel manager.. she talked to them and promised them that she will sent the voucher in 10 minutes, based on that confirmation, they gave me the room . I thought things are settled.

• I got a call at 11.30 PM from the hotel manager, he informed me that he did not receive any voucher from Yatra, and I have to pay the total bill. And the new hotel cost is much higher than what I booked initially. I tried calling Yatra help line Again . Unfortunately it was a totally new guy ( Sandeep) who talked ( Aditi disappeared and refused to come online) . Now the tone is totally different, he said the cost of the new hotel is high ( Rs. 3545/-), so he can’t send the voucher and asked me to pay from my pocket, and Yatra will return the payment I made for Rs. 1505 and additional Rs.1000/-, rest of the money has to be paid from my pocket . I had conversation till mid night, the guy ( Sandeep) did not listen or understand what I was talking, he was keep on saying the same thing, my points were

I would like to hear from Yatra.com.. How are they going to pay the money for two hotels I paid ? and how will you compensate the spoilt vacation ??? it was such a Worst experience with Yatra.com . Please guide me how do I take I to consumer rights .
