Zenify — rented an apartment through zenify, issues regarding security deposit

Rented an apartment through zenify: g-304, dsr green vista aparment, upkar layout, itpl.

After three years, decided to leave the apartment.

Now let me list down the events:

* one month before the date of vacating the apartment, informed zenify that we would like to vacate. The rental agreement will also expire around the same date.

* zenify (Customer support), accepts the request and starts the processing. Many emails were send back and forth to get the process going.

* zenify, sends an inspection team who did very highly non-cooperated and they take list of the things to be fixed, painting and cleaning.
In the past three years, they haven't provided any maintenance to the apartment, all the damages were taken care by us.
And now they have come up with an unreasonable list of maintenance activity needed in the apartment.

*zenify comes back with a quote of 21k+taxes to be deducted from the security deposit.
We tried explaining them that many charges are invalid but trust me there customer support is impossible. You will get an auto generated message and then it will take them ages to get back to you.

* zenify, assures to pay the remaining amount once we have vacated the apartment.

*15 days after vacating, we still haven't received any money or response from zenify.
We have been continuously contacting them over emails.
Calling doesn't make sense, as each time it's a new person, you tell him your problems and whatever you say, you will hear back a template response only. So emails!

* zenify gets back to us and guess what the estimate of 21k to be deducted from the security deposit has gone up to 52k. Yes, more than double the initial estimate.

* many emails back and forth, we asked if we can get the repairs and painting on our own and then comes the next surprise. They inform us that all the required tasks are done.
So basically, zenify has spend our money, without even asking us or informing us about that.

* the charges mentioned in 52k estimation were much elevated and were not even close to reality. Most of the charges they had put on the apartment, were completely invalid.

This is a clear case of cheating and mugging people of there hard earned money.
They are robbing us but we really don't know which way to go. We have been still talking to them over emails and calls but the customer support team is the least helpful of all.

This company doesn't case about your money. Companies like zenify should not be given licence to run business as there business model is based on cheating customers.

They have had our security deposit of 1.2lac for over three years. They would have earned a handsome interest on the same and now when have to return the money back, they find all the ways to avoid that.

Please help us get our money back and take legal actions on companies which are looting us.
