[Resolved] Zerodha — account opening delayed by 5 days | |||
Hi, I have applied for zerodha account opening for demat and payed 300rs on 13/03/2020. Upon repeated attempts i have not received any credentials and not getting any status of application. It doesn't seems to be good to delay in the process without any update from zerodha. As per zerodha it should be opened in 48 business hours. Verified Support Mar 20, 2020 Zerodha Customer Care's response We are operating under our COVID-19 contingency plan for business continuity and the safety of our team. Over 1200 members of our team are working from their homes. While the account opening process is completely digital for you, there are a lot of manual steps on our end, including manual verification of your documents, that are required to be compliant with regulations. Due to this and an increased inflow of account opening forms, the account opening can take up to an additional 72 hours.We appreciate your patience and cooperation. | |||
